Through these projects, we saw the same patterns again and again: outdated knowledge bases, disconnected systems, and agents and customers who couldn’t get the answers they needed fast.

Our Core Challenge

Before Polly.Help became a product, we were a team implementing omnichannel contact center solutions for organizations across the Netherlands and far beyond. Through these projects, we saw the same patterns again and again: outdated knowledge bases, disconnected systems, and agents and customers who couldn’t get the answers they needed fast.

In 2015, that changed. We wrote the first lines of code for our own knowledge management platform one that would connect systems, centralize answers, and scale across any team or channel.

The name Polly came from our early codebase, inspired by “polymath” the all-knower. It quickly took on a life of its own, especially when we realized Polly is also the world’s most iconic parrot name. Fittingly, Polly.Help became the voice that repeats the right answers, consistently and reliably.

Over time, Polly got its own identity including a parade of event-themed logos (yes, we’re happy to send you some for fun). And when the .nl domain wasn’t available, we chose something even better: polly.help because that’s what Polly does.
