About Polly
We did not start in a category. We started on the floor.
Before Polly was a product, we were the team implementing omnichannel contact center solutions for organizations across the Netherlands and far beyond. We kept seeing the same thing: outdated knowledge bases, disconnected systems, and people who could not get to the answer in time.
Our story
From implementing to building.
For years we delivered other people's contact center software. Every project ran into the same wall, and it was never the technology: it was the knowledge underneath it. Outdated, scattered across systems, owned by nobody.
In 2015 we stopped working around it and started building the layer we kept wishing existed. Eleven years later it is a platform that more than a hundred organizations run on, in sectors where a wrong answer is expensive.

The name came out of our early codebase. Polly, short for polymath: the all-knower. It took on a life of its own once we realized it is also the most iconic parrot name there is, which turned out to fit rather well. A parrot repeats the right answer, consistently, every time.
And when the .nl domain was taken, we picked something better. polly.help, because that is what Polly does.
The people
Who is behind the platform.

Founder · Chief Strategic Officer
Cees Zwezerijn
Cees started the company in 2015, and he is still the one asking whether a feature actually helps the person on the other end of the line. Eleven years on, that question is still the filter. It is why governance is not a module in Polly but the reason it exists, and why the roadmap is shaped by what customers run into rather than by what the category expects.
The team

In production
Trusted where a wrong answer costs the most.
More than a hundred organizations run their knowledge on Polly. Government, healthcare, financial services, utilities. Places where roughly right is not good enough, and where one outdated answer becomes a complaint, a claim or a headline.

How we build
Four things we will not trade away for speed.
We work in short feedback loops with real users, design for scale and simplicity, and use automation and AI where it adds value, never where it costs us quality.
The same foundation, in your own tenant. Read-only to start, nothing to migrate.
